Activity Assistant
Activity Therapist (Part Time)
Location: LindenGrove New Berlin
16 or 32 hours per week
The job of the Activity Therapist is to enhance the quality of life of the patients and residents. Under the oversight of the Activity Director/Coordinator, the Activity Therapist designs, implements, assesses and revises activity programs for their case load to meet the social, creative, physical, spiritual and emotional needs of LindenGrove’s patients and residents.
Requirements
Education
-
Studied Art Therapy, Dance Therapy, Music Therapy, Therapeutic Recreation, Other Creative Arts Degree or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant degree preferred
OR
-
Completion of Non-Creative Arts Therapy degree and Modular Education Program for Activity Professional (MEPAP I), or completion of Non-Creative Arts Therapy degree with agreement to register for MEPAP I within introductory period and successfully complete coursework within 9 months.
